Laura Aberton

David Dyer

Laura Aberton is a highly experienced Physical Therapist currently practicing at MVP Therapy Services, located within the St. Mark’s Hospital campus in Salt Lake City. With nearly four decades of clinical expertise, Laura has dedicated her career to helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and return to the activities they love.

Before joining the team at MVP Therapy Services, Laura spent 20 years as a successful business owner, founding and operating her own home health agency. This two-decade chapter allowed her to master the complexities of patient care within the home environment, emphasizing independence and personalized recovery.

Having recently sold her business, Laura has shifted her focus to the outpatient setting. This transition allows her to work alongside her husband and colleague, Mark Aberton, bringing her extensive experience in geriatric and rehabilitative care to the MVP clinical team.

David brings two decades of clinical expertise and a deep-seated passion for human movement to the MVP Therapy team at St. Mark’s. Since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2006, David has dedicated his career to helping patients reclaim their mobility and return to the activities they love most.

With 20 years of experience, David has developed a keen eye for biomechanics and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic and sports-related recovery. He is highly skilled in Dry Needling, a specialized technique used to release muscular trigger points, reduce pain, and improve functional range of motion.
